Swelling almost completely gone... Or at least much less.
Mama's heart palpitations lessened as well.

Chocolate shake makes EVERYTHING better.

After an early-morning trip to the ER, the boy was diagnosed with a virus in the realm of Fifths Disease. Doc said once the rash and swelling hit it's on its way out.
Apparently very common in preschoolers.

The boy is in high spirits, when the benedryl isn't making him sleepy.
Mom and dad are relieved. And tired.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts!
