Brrrr! Its cold outside!

Good day for movie watching...

Oh- and we're watching Transformers 2, which is why he's so hypnotized. It has wheels, monsters AND a pretty girl (the holy trinity of boy movies).

"Nnnnnnnnnaaaaaaah"

That would be the sound of the boy giving Elmo a kiss.

Thanks Aunt Reags for the gigantic elmo and lizard!

Especially the steering wheel.

The boy's new way to watch tv.

For those with impeccable hearing, yes, that is Doctor Who he is watching...

What?

Seriously- what is better than a happy child in footy-pajamas with a push-cart?
That's right. NOTHING.

(Please excuse the unmade bed-it is morning after all)

DOH!
Sorry for the lack of updates... My posting device (phone) was giving me some grief with the picture/video taking.
HOWEVER
All is well.
The boy has been hiking his leg on everything - to climb on it, not to pee on it - and he has been talking quite a bit too... His most recent vocab additions include "take that, stand up, arms up, arms down, dad, mama, neeow! (cat) oo oo ah ah, (monkey) and bak bak" (dog)

He is now eating actual sandwiches and nuggets, eschewing the cut-up tidbits I continually try to serve him.
Sigh.

As you can see, the kid is up, and eating avec gusto!

By the way, that is a gardenburger (with bun, quartered) that he's eating... And he's taking BITES of it.

BITES.

He's going to be asking for the car keys ANY DAY NOW...

Poor baby.
First Jasper and daddy were sick, then mom, and now and it looks like the boy is feeling a relapse. No fever though, so at least we've got that...

Can someone email Shakespeare about this pox upon our house?
Thanks.

Um check out this monkey boy. He does this so fast, I don't even want to blink anymore.

Note to self: must have eyes-in-back-of-head installed STAT.

The boy woke up late today (9:15!) but in a FANTASTIC mood. I'm sure it has to do with his ELVIS WAS HERE shirt.

Jasper watch, and project update.

Mom's sick, so we're combining posts today...

Finished the baby blanket for miss Birdie Rose, but (of course) Jasper won't let go of it. Since I'm harboring the plague, I can't deliver it to Birdie right now anyway, so the boy can love on it all he wants.

Hmmm... Looks like I'll need to knit the boy his own blankie...
